Hội Phụ Nữ Việt Úc thân mời các chị tham gia nhóm sinh Hoạt Chương Trình Sắc Tộc Hài Hoà - "Stories on a plate" cùng với các phụ nữ Phi Châu.
Tuy khác biệt về màu da và ngôn ngữ, song phụ nữ Việt Nam và Châu Phi có rất nhiều điểm tương đồng như địa vị xã hội, tính hy sinh và chịu đựng, v.v… Điều khác biệt cơ bản là cộng đồng người Việt chúng ta có nhiều kinh nghiệm định cư hơn cộng đồng Phi Châu.
Đây là cơ hội quí báu để các chị có dịp tiếp xúc với các phụ nữ Phi Châu, cùng chia sẻ những kinh nghiệm di dân, luyện Anh ngữ, học hỏi thêm về văn hoá Úc, thưởng thức các món ăn từ hai nền văn hoá khác nhau, đi du ngoạn, v.v…

Our Vision

A harmonious society in which everyone, irrespective of age, gender, skills, abilities, ethnicity & religion, feels valued, is motivated & empowered to contribute.

Our Objectives:

• To operate as a non-profi t Association to assist the settlement of Vietnamese speaking refugees and migrants in Victoria.
• To provide material aid, practical assistance, emotional support and counselling to the above for the relief of distress, poverty, sickness, ignorance and helplessness.
• To operate as learning and family support centre which will focus on the most disadvantaged sections of the community including: women, the unemployed and the educationally disadvantaged.
• To assist the harmonious integration of the Vietnamese community in Australia by providing information on life in Australia to Vietnamese and providing information about Vietnamese culture and concerns to offi cial bodies and the general public.
• To do all such things as are lawful and conducive to the objectives of the Association.

Activities:

• Youth support services, after school & weekend sports, Soccer, Tennis, Table Tennis, Volleyball Tournaments,
• Programs for women & men in employment, housing, health, drug treatment counselling, family support, prisoner support, community corrections counselling
• Services for the elderly: PAG, CACP. CEGS
• Accredited and non accredited courses
• Weekly Vietnamese radio program on 3ZZZ 92.3 FM every Tuesday morning from 10am -11 am
