Every year in March, Victorians come together to celebrate our state's diverse and powerful multicultural communities. The 2023 Cultural Diversity Week theme is Our Past. Our Future: Celebrating and reflecting on the contributions of Victoria's multicultural communities.
Join us in celebrating the incredible milestone of the Australian Vietnamese Women's Association (AVWA), one of the top 4% of not-for-profit organisations in Australia, as we present our exhibition, "AVWA: 40 Years Young and Thriving," at the Immigration Museum. Marking 40 years of dedicated service to the community, this exhibition is a must-see for all those interested in the rich history and contributions of the Vietnamese community in Victoria.
The exhibition will be on display from Tuesday 28th February to Thursday 30th March and is open to visitors daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to the exhibition is free, so come out and show your support for AVWA and our continued efforts to empower and serve the migrant community.
